A run of luck…

Mark » 30 December 2008 » In General Poker »

Heh there fellow poker players.  Has it been as good for you over the past few weeks as it has been for me?  What a run of luck I have had, you wouldn’t believe the cards I’ve been getting.  Santa couldn’t have brought me a better present.

So I’m just trying to ride it for as long as I can, because I know for sure it is coming to an end some time.  It always does!  The laws of probability say that all things even out, so the run of good cards will come to an end sometime.

We can’t always get good cards, so when you get them you gotta play them as well as you can and earn as much as you can.  An obvious statement I know – but just how well do you manipulate your opposition when you get good cards?

But I’m getting too deep and meaningful for today’s blog, all I really wanted to do was tell you about my great run of cards.  How has it been for you?  Feel free to write to me and let me know how its been going for you.  I am really interested in knowing how good your cards have been and how long your luck has run for.

I’m happy to be ending the year on a high.  I hope you are.  May next year be a good one, I wish you all the luck for 2009.  Looking forward to bringing you more great poker tips next year.

My luck runs for about a week if I am lucky. I just never seem to get the cards when I need them the most though. Most of the time I’ll get one or two really great hands in a game, about 20 good poker hands, loads of marginal stuff and then rubbish!

I need to learn how to play the marginal stuff better to make more money from my poker

Yeah Mark, luck comes and goes heh…
Mostly mine goes at the moment, my poker sucks, I just keep getting beaten by better hands. I mean mine aren’t bad hands, but there are just better ones out there when it counts. So I sympathize!
